Part I- In 2 paragraphs, discuss the main idea of the article. What is the author attempting to convey? . Discuss the purpose of the article?
Part II - Create an outline in your notebook based on the article you have chosen. Construct an outline of all the important ideas. Your outline should highlight all of the significant people, places, events and points the author makes. Be sure to print out the "How to Write an Outline" worksheet and follow the format for constructing an outline. Bring your outline and the printed worksheet to class on Tuesday.
